10 Reasons People Laugh About Your PG Games

Pillars of Eternity (2015)
Xbox One
Nintendo Switch
Pillars of the Earth is a great tribute to the ’90s RPG. You are surrounded by sophisticated characters, a rich gameplay world, and powerful gameplay.

I especially like playing as a wizard or a talisman sword, because the magic system is very satisfying and powerful. It’s wrapped in a strange but captivating plot about souls, the afterlife and of course, saving the world.

This game embodies a true role-playing game, where character customization, options and more reign supreme. This one definitely cannot be missed if you like RPGs.

Final Fantasy IX (2000)
Final Fantasy 9, the first Final Fantasy of the new millennium, took the series from the setting of the more serious soap opera in Final Fantasy VIII into a more exotic and colorful feel of the Middle Ages.

You are the cute and evil Zidane, and you are accompanied by cool characters like the black wizard Vivi and the silly but lovable Steiner. The music and gameplay are unparalleled, and while I loved Final Fantasy VIII, I think the ninth entry really brought Final Fantasy back to an old classic era.
Arx fatalis (2002)
personal computer
I love this little RPG gem. In it, you are trapped in a sprawling underground city called Arx. You have a lot of freedom here, with in-depth magic abilities, countless weapons, and loads of bad guys to kill.

Exploring the underground castles and caves is really fun. All the RPG basics are here: crafting, spells, secrets and side quests.

You can really get lost (figuratively and literally) in the deep caves of Arx Fatalis. It’s usually pretty cheap on Steam so buy it!

Fallout: New Vegas (2010)
Xbox 360
personal computer
New Vegas came two years after the Bethesda Opportunity launched in the Fallout series. Obsidian took the reins and boy, they did well. I like this game much more than Fallout 3.

There are a lot of options here. Not only is the Mojave Wasteland environment more vibrant than the others, but you can also join different factions, each with satisfying search lines with non-playable characters that you love to hate.

The attractive Benny leaves you to die after discovering that you are carrying a mysterious poker chip. What follows is a great multi-story story that really gets you thinking about the important decisions. If you want to play Fallout, this is the game for sure.
